We're happy to announce that we have made publicly availabe the latest ECF 4.0 for .NET 2.0 CTP Release.  Although we have limited/no documentation right now, this is a milestone release for us because it is an almost feature complete release of the product including our new AJAX editing and all of the other things we mentioned in previous posts and more...

In this CTP release there are two ways that you can take a look at it.  Simple and Advanced. 

Install Option 1) SIMPLE SETUP - Shows the power of the ECF Distributed Web Services Architecture in that you can quickly get the front end of the ECF installed on your computer but it references our servers for catalog and web services.  In affect this shows you the power of developing front ends to be deployed and accessing any backend commerce server infrastructure around the world.  Choose this option if you just want to explore the front end only. It will be up and running fast. This takes 2 easy steps.

Install Option 2) ADVANCED SETUP - This provides you with the ability to fully engage with the entire ECF package including the backend CommerceManager, Database, Web Services, and Front end all running in your own environment.  In other words the full ECF 4.0 CTP Release.  This takes 7 Steps with sub steps in each one.
