is any official (or non official ) benchmarks available for ECF 4.1.2 ?

i understand that the performance is depends on customizations done, but do you have a numbers for original distributed code ?

basically i want to be able to do a rough estimation about how much concurrent visitors ECF can handle when deployed to 2 dedicated  commodity web servers (one for the web and one for the database )

how can you help me with it ?

Many high profile sites have launched on the ECF platform so the code can handle a good volume of concurrent vistors. As long as the hardware specs are decent and you follow Microsoft's best practices for IIS configuration, you shouldn't have too much problem.

Performance slowdowns happen at the database level if you have too many products or too many metaclasses. Please try to keep the number of metaclasses to a minimum - that should help keep your site performing well.

Also, make sure your images are optimized for the web.
