    Ordering of virtual pages

    Hi Mediachase

I have a problem with the ordering of Virtual pages in the menu.

The pages shown in a category is numbered 1-5 in the "Ordering" field but show up in ramdom order in the menu on the PublicSite.

Can you please help me with what i am doing wrong?

    Re: Ordering of virtual pages

    Hi Toke:

We have tested the ordering of the virtual pages and have found this to be a bug.   Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologize for any convenience this may be currently causing you.   I have verified that ordering is being ignored and thus the virtual pages are being displayed in the order they were created.

This issue will be submitted to the development team and corrected.   Thanks again.

    Sincerely,

    Tim O'Brien

    Attachment: update.sql

    Hi,

Update.sql contains update script for the database which should solve the issue.

    Hope this helps,
    Nadya.

    Re: Ordering of virtual pages

Thanx Nadya. I managed to figure it out by myself, just wanted to see, that i'm right. My problem is, that the category's ordering is still seems to be ignored. Is there a way, that i can get a sitemap, where the SiteMap's every ChildNodes ordering is based on the ordering of category (subcategory) ordering AND virtual page ordering field?
So i need to creat a menu, where the first menuitem is a virtual page, the second one is a category and the third one is a virtual page.

    Re: Ordering of virtual pages

There's no built-in support for this, so you need either to create your own SiteMapProvider or modify the existing one.
