Has anyone been able to get ECF3.1 to compille in VS2005 or VS2008?

I've tried a handful of times, but .NET 2.0/3.5 doesn't like the old Metabuilder Masterpages implementation, and I think there were other issues. Anyone able to successfully get ECF3.1 to compile in a newer version of Visual Studio?

Because 3.1 is several years old, I am afraid we have not tested it on the latest version of VS.
