Here is the quick party line on hosting and what is required to run the ECF. 

The baseline requirements to run ECF at a hosting company are:

a) The provider offers Windows 2000 server/IIS/.NET 2.0/.NET 3.0
b) .NET applications must be able to run in FULL TRUST Mode
c) Support or the ability for you to install Microsoft WSE 3.0 for web services
d) The provider needs to have SQL 2000/SQL 2005 support
