    This item is not accessible through ECS

    I am getting "This item is not accessible through ECS" when adding something to the cart in framework 4.1.1.  Why is this error being caused?

    Sorry cblaze22 but I have not seen that error.  Is this something you get everytime?

    I can not remember how I fixed this or if this is even fixed.  So please discontinue.

    Hello

    we seem to be getting a lot of these messages

    Mediachase.eCF.ClientLib.ClientException: This item is not accessible through ECS.

    We don't really know why this happens but it looks like the exception is thrown on the product pages

    can you assist please?

    Hi Juan,

    Before we can assist you, can you answer the following questions:
    1) What is your ECF version number?
    2) OS + SP level
    3) SQL version + SP level
    4) Was the site running fine before? If so, what was changed?
    5) What are the steps that you took to get this error?
    6) Do you have any screenshots or additional error messages?

    Hello

    attached is an example of the error message we get

    we suspect that this error message appears between the payment process and the confirmation screen, which causes the customer to get an error on the screen and re-submit the payment.

    could you please advice?

    Hi,

    What version of the ECF are you running?  Windows and SQL version? 

    Was this site running before?  If things were fine before, do you know what changed?  Environment change (i.e. windows update) or code change?

    Please let us know and we will do what we can to assist you.
