Change Text on the button from Browse... to another value

Can't get a filter to work

I'm currently using the MediaChase FileUploader control and I'm working on adding another FileUpload component to my project so I need to use filters to allow calls to that component to go through untouched. However I seem to be having some trouble doing so. Here's what my fileUploaderContext element looks like:

		</fileUploaderContext>

Originally I tried just blocking a specific path ("*/OtherUploader.axd"), but that didn't seem to work so I changed it to block everything ("*") to see if uploads would still work, which they do, so I can only assume that I'm doing something completely wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have to do a small project to My company with FileUploader.NET object, where I will use to FileUploadProgress objecto. I have a problem, becuause when I use to this object, I can't to Upload Files whos size will be more than 2MB, can Somebody help me with a simple Example?

Hi,

We are currently trialling your latest FileUploader.NET control against that from another vendor.

A single physical WWW server has been set up for our tests and is thus the same one for both of the following communication paths...

(1) 'W2007 Pro' -> HTTPS (port 443) -> IIS

(2) 'W2007 Pro' HTTPS -> [CISCO Load Balancer SSL terminator] -> HTTP (port 81) 'IIS'

Both paths can be used to reliably upload the required test files. Although the progress status for (1) operates sucessfully, that for (2) remains 'stuck' on 0% even after file upload has completed.

Looking at our client-side WireShark traces for your .NET control's upload on each run we note the successful establishment of 3x HTTPS connections, one (apparently) being reserved purely for the data upload itself.

For path (2) one of the other 2 connections consistently fails to actually contain any ‘Application Data’ packets. It would thus be very useful if you could help us to achieve a better understanding of the purpose of the 2 non-data upload HTTPS connections, whilst our review of the traces continues...

Can anyone tell me if we can set-up the file uploader to scan a file for viruses after it has finished uploading, and then be able to call the functions to save to a SQL DB server?

Hi,

It happens only to a particular file, when clicking on the submit button, it will either:

- Goes to the Page_load but doesn't invoke the Click event handler; it just comes back to the file upload page and the file input box blanks out

- sometimes I will get "IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array"

As I said before, it only happens to a particular file which I have verified to contain only pure text characters.

If I modify the file by adding blank lines at the end of the file; then it will upload fine.

Very strange!!!

Version of Mediachase.FileUploader.dll is 1.4.1530.19143

How do I set up the file upload so that only one file can be uploaded? When user selects a file from uploader, I don;t want to show another file upload control under it.

Also, how can I display the information that is available for "Files in Folder", such as size and content type, in "Files for Saving" section?

I just downloaded the trial version and was testing the FolderView sample. When Itry to upload a file I get: "File were not upload. Trya again" error message. What am I missing?

McHtmlInputFile.PostedFile returning null

For some reason McHtmlInputFile.PostedFile is always returning null, even though I'm selecting a file from the browser window.

I am using Version 1.6 of your upload control, the upload control works within another page but for some reason "McHtmlInputFile.PostedFile" is always returning null even after I select a file

FileUploader Net2.0 :Hello Upload sample file size limitations

I am running FileUploader.NET 2.0 HelloUpload sample and for some reason I can't upload file that is greater than 20KB. I am getting "Page Not Found" immediately.

I tried to play with httpPostMaxSize parameter but it did not help

Please let me know what I can do to fix this problem.

Our customers would like to upload up to 4GB size files. Can “Mediachase.FileUploader” handle this size?

McHtmlInputFile - SaveAs/MoveTo

I am using McHtmlInputFile (2.0.2781.20609) control to upload large files. I need to upload files to different locations on the disk. Should I use SaveAs() or MoveTo() function? I tried both and they both did the job.

Also, I could not find Release memory function in McHttpPostedFile or McHtmlInputFile classes. Does ReleaseAll/ReleaseFile apply only to FileUploadControl.

Select Multiple Files at One Time

Is there a flag that allows users to select multiple files at one time from the browse window? As far as I can tell, if you want to upload five files, you have to press browse and select a file, browse and select a file, browse and select a file, browse and select a file, etc.

Have I missed a setting or property?

File Upload stopped working - Request Aborted Exception

My client just recently purchased the FileUploader.NET 2.0 control to upgrade their upload application. I am the developer working on the upgrade.

Their new server is a Windows 2008 Server (64bit). After some trial and error we were able to get the file upload working, but it seemed to not allow very large uploads from external clients (more than 100mb roughly). Our system stores files in temp folder on D: drive and then the app sends the files to another ticket server after uploading is complete. This system worked before (on Win 2003 machine with v1.8) and worked briefly on the new server after fiddling with some .Net configurations and recoding (Win 2008 machine with v2.0).

We also recently installed WSUS on the same machine

Now, after installing WSUS, we can upload any files internally from the LAN but any other uploads from external sources that are larger than a few 100kb generate an Event Log error:

Min File Length Exceeded

Using version 1.6.1 of the fileupload control our users are starting to recieve the follow error when trying to upload 80Mb files even though we are allowing 100Mb on the control. I am guessing that the error is wrong as a 5Mb file will upload correctly. My web.config maxrequestlength is < 100Mb, but that should not matter correct?

Hi, I have a source code license for version 1.6 of Mediachase file uploader which I'm using on one of my main Websites, however, customers sometimes complain about the file upload failing when uploading large files (approx 100MB and greater).

Locally, I can upload much more than this, but users in the West Coast US and in China connecting to my UK server seem to complain more than others.

I see the error:

Constantly in the Event log of my server, and the minority of users who are unable to use the service they are paying for because of this problem are obviously rather annoyed.

Do you have any possible explanations as to why this may be happening, and why I can't replicate the problem?

hooking in anti-virus engine

Upload Failed. Try Again

When I try to run the HelloUpload test, the file (3 meg) gets about 93% uploaded and then i get a popup box error saying: 'Upload Failed. Try Again'

I see two files in the upload directory. I can tell the large file is most of my jpeg i tried to upload. My mcinfo file is as follows:

When i put a break point on the btnUpload_ServerClick, it never gets there.

Strangely, when i upload a 16 byte text document, this works sometimes (although it doesn't close the progree window in Firefox).
