Email notifications

Forgive the naivety, but we have a team email for eCF to handle customer issues, etc., but can Warehouse Administrators and other Roles be informed by email of when orders are placed in their warehouse? Or is it just a case of watching each day?

As some warehouses will only have spikes of activity, it would be better (for customers as well) to inform them when a new order is in place.

How is this done? Many thanks.

Promotion Codes - Order of processing and order total limits

We've run into an issue with coupon/promotion codes and order total limits. Here's an example of the issue:

Order subtotal: $101
Coupon A: $10 off an order of $100 or more
Coupon B: $5 off an order of $100 or more

The preferred outcome is that coupon B is rejected, since the order will below the $100 threshold after the coupon A is applied, so that the subtotal would be $91. It is acceptable if the customer enters the Coupon B first that the order subtotal is $99, since the order subtotal would still be below the $100 threshold for Coupon A. However, both coupon A and B are being applied, causing the order subtotal to be $86.

Please note, this example is of the issue and not a real world example.

There is an option to cause the coupons to be exclusive of each other ("Combination with other promotions" option), but we would like them to be able to use both coupons on an order over $110. Setting the priority of Coupon A to 1 and Coupon B to 2 does not prevent Coupon B from being applied in the above case.

Is there an option we're missing?

Hi!

I have created a metafield "M_Status" on lineitem with history.
This works fine and save correctly.
I would like to get this information out in some way.
Now i just get the last "M_Status" i saved. How do I get older "M_Status" that is saved in the database?

attach workflow to order subsystem in manager?

Hello,

Is it possible to attach a custom workflow to the order subsystem inside the manager?
So when an administrator creates a new order for a client from within the manager, a workflow will be run (that for instance creates an xml file containing the information of the order)?

Line items added to cart thru Commerce Manager are "doubled"

Description:
When adding line items to a cart thru the management interface, two distinct line items are added to the cart when an item is chosen from the dropdown and the add to cart action is taken.

Expected Behavior:
One line item added to the cart.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a cart in the frontend.
2. Go to Order Management -> Carts -> Today and find cart.
3. Go to "Line Items" tab, select any item from the dropdown, then click "Add Line Item"

Reproducible:
Always.

How to integrate with PayPal Express Checkout?

Hi, Guys,

I'm stuck with PayPal Express Checkout integration with ECF 5. The problem is:

1) Where do I redirect the customer to PayPal site? In PaymentMethod.ascx?

2) How Do I pass the returnUrl to PayPal SetExpressCheckout method? When I set "checkout/checkout.aspx" as the returnUrl, it brings me to the first step of the payment but not the confirmation step. How can i get the correct step?

Hello everybody, I need your views on a situation. I have a friend of mine who is working as a manager in small firm. He has issues with his boss about some thefts in their firm. There are certain employees on whom he has got his eyes, but he is not sure. He is very upset about this and I want to know that what are the possible precautions and solutions that I can suggest him so that he will be in a better state?

Getting at user's shopping carts

I’ve been experimenting with a client’s request to be able to save and have multiple wishlists/shopping carts. I haven’t had too much trouble figuring out how the cart data is stored, how one would create a new cart, and how one would access a custom-named cart and show it in a user control.

However, I cannot figure out how, using ECF’s object model, to get a list of a user’s various carts. It looks like ECF calls them individually by name (“Default” and “Wishlist”), but I’d like to be able to enumerate through a user’s carts.

I suspect the following might give me what I want:

Mediachase.Commerce.Orders.Cart.LoadByCustomer(ProfileContext.Current.UserId);

But when calling that method, I receive the following runtime error:

Could not find stored procedure 'ecf_Search_ShoppingCart_Customer'

Looking in the DB, I do see that that stored procedure is not present.

Can anyone tell me if there is a fix for this method, or another way of getting at the data I’m looking for?
