SqlHelper Methods

The methods of the SqlHelper class are listed below. For a complete list of SqlHelper class members, see the SqlHelper Members topic.

DBNull2Null	Overloaded. Converts DNNull.Value into a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
Deserialize	This method deserializes object from binary storage.
ExecuteDataset	Overloaded. Execute a SqlCommand (that returns a resultset and takes no parameters) against the database specified in the connection string.
ExecuteNonQuery	Overloaded. Execute a SqlCommand (that returns no resultset and takes no parameters) against the database specified in the connection string.
ExecuteReader	Overloaded. Create and prepare a SqlCommand, and call ExecuteReader with the appropriate CommandBehavior.
ExecuteScalar	Overloaded. Execute a SqlCommand (that returns a 1x1 resultset and takes no parameters) against the database specified in the connection string.
ExecuteScript	Executes a complex sql script.
ExecuteXmlReader	Overloaded. Execute a SqlCommand (that returns a resultset and takes no parameters) against the provided SqlConnection.
Null2DBNull	Convert a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) into DBNull.Value.
Serialize	This method serializes object into binary storage.

Equals (inherited from Object)	Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object.
GetHashCode (inherited from Object)	Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
GetType (inherited from Object)	Gets the Type of the current instance.
ToString (inherited from Object)	Returns a String that represents the current Object.

Finalize (inherited from Object)	Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by garbage collection.
MemberwiseClone (inherited from Object)	Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.
