The ECF uses the Microsoft .NET master pages architecture as a base for implementing virtually any type of design approach into your front end. Leverage our powerful new master pages template structure to apply your own styles, attributes, display templates and master pages into a single global package. Forget about "skins" and other vendor specific approaches and put yourself in control.
Meta Data Plus (MDP) allows extending any object in the system with a series of meta fields. It is very similar to the way object oriented programming works where you can create a base class “Product” and then create a class called “ElectronicProduct” which will be based on Product class and inherit all it’s properties as well as add some specific fields.
MDP supports a number of common Database type attributes as well as some custom structures and any object in the eCommerce Framework can be extended using MDP thus offering an extremely powerful and flexible sub-framework.
