Mediachase announced today the release of the latest version of the eCommerce Framework, version 4.1.  ECF 4.1 has a number of new, key features and capabilities that will enhance the ECF product, adding value to the ECF platform.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – July 10th, 2007 – Mediachase released today the latest version of its eCommerce Framework, ECF 4.1.  Catering to requests from partners, end users, and customers, Mediachase added a number of key new features and enhancements.  ECF 4.1 allows developers to work directly with ECF’s APIs, thereby speeding up development and shortening the time for quality assurance testing.  For developers looking to ease integrations with third party systems and who want to avoid working directly with APIs, Mediachase has added another tool to its toolkit – ECF Integration Services (or ECF I/S - click here). 

The other new features in ECF 4.1 include a news module, a polls module, the ability to compare products, automatic generation of metaclass information to simplify deployment (enabling easy migration from development, to staging, to production environments), improved order management, improved login roles and better overall performance.
