Today Mediachase announced the implementation of a completely new Solutions Provider Program which will create new opportunities for Mediachase and its partners by offering new benefits and multiple tiers to better support Mediachase Solutions Providers.
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – July 10th, 2007 – Mediachase today announced its newly structured Solutions Provider program which will enable Mediachase to better serve its partners while generating greater potential business opportunities for both Mediachase and the Solutions Providers. The newly expanded program has two Solution Provider levels: Certified Partners and Gold Certified Partners.
Quite a few features in the new program will remain unchanged. There will still be discounts on all licenses purchased by Solutions Providers on behalf of their clients and Solutions Providers will continue to receive free upgrades and advertising on the Mediachase website. However, both tiers of Solutions Providers – Certified as well as Gold Partners – receive value-added propositions over the old program including monthly teleconferences with the Mediachase ECF team, free access to new products such as ECF Integration Services (ECF I/S), and access to sales and marketing materials.
Another change for the Solutions Provider program is the requirement to attend a training session and pay for an annual membership fee plus a support package. Regarding the new costs, Joseph Grause, Manager of Sales and Marketing, had this to say, “We believe the benefits of our program more than offsets the cost to join our program because Solutions Providers have more direct access to our ECF engineering team and updates to the code base in the form of monthly teleconferences, a forum especially designed to address Solutions Providers’ needs, support packs, and for some, access to our source code in its developmental phase.”
Perhaps the biggest change is that Gold Certified Partners are given access to Mediachase’s Team Foundation Server which stores all of the source code pertaining to ECF-related projects in development. This translates to immediate access to all maintenance patches as well as new features on the horizon, plus it gives Gold Certified Partners an inside track on influencing the feature set that get included in the next release. Gold Partners also get a free Full Source Code license for ECF Integration Services (click here for more info). These benefits come with an added revenue requirement which the regular Certified Partners do not have to satisfy.
